Repair Service Cost

We provide a comprehensive repair service for many types of equipment. We are happy to provide a ballpark estimate over the telephone before you send in equipment for repair at no charge. Once the equipment is received, we investigate the problem and email or fax a repair estimate for your consideration. Investigation, being much lower than industry average, is £50 (which includes return carriage) or 15% of estimate value for estimates over £250.00.

Also, we may offer you a new piece of equipment if within the inventory of our sister company www.hitek-sales.co.uk. to replace yours if its not economical to repair. If you proceed with the purchase of a new piece of equipment; no investigation charge is payable, we can if you so decide return the old unit with your new unit.

Failed Calibration Cost

If your units fails calibration and you do not wish us to proceed further with a repair or a Limited calibration we only charge you 50% of the calibration cost to a maximum of £50, this is just another way in which HITEK is unique in not charging it's clients for every item, we work with our clients to ensure we make reasonable & fair charges.
