In late 1997, HITEK began the calibration of sound level meters and calibrators. We learnt from our customers that there was a need for calibration of basic sound level instruments and that, customers were accepting excessive turnaround times due to the limited number of companies that could offer this type of service (mainly the manufacturers). While we are only able to offer a calibration service on the basic unit (ones without filters), we have found the service to be extremely popular.
